Citron du Cap is a luminous laciniated dahlia that brings texture and light into the garden with its feathery, fringed petals. Blooms open in soft lemon yellow and creamy tones, often kissed with a delicate blush center that shifts subtly as the flower matures. The deeply cut petals create a fluffy, almost lace-like effect β adding movement and softness to both the field and the vase.
Producing medium-to-large 6β8 inch blooms on strong 4β5 foot plants, this variety is wonderfully prolific and a standout for cutting gardens. Citron du Cap pairs beautifully with peaches, ivories, and soft pastels, offering an airy, romantic presence that feels both whimsical and refined.
