Fox Cottage Farm began with a lifelong love of flowers — and a season when I needed them more than ever.

Some of my earliest memories are in the garden, trailing after my grandfather as he tended his roses in upstate NY, learning that tending something living could be both joyful and grounding. Flowers were never just beautiful to me; they were a place to slow down, to observe, and to feel connected to something steady and enduring.

Years later, during one of the hardest chapters of my life, I found myself returning to the garden again. Grief, change, and uncertainty have a way of pulling the ground out from beneath you. Flowers gave it back. Planting, tending, and watching things grow became a quiet form of healing — something to care for when everything else felt overwhelming.

What started as a personal refuge slowly grew into Fox Cottage Farm.

Dahlias and peonies became the heart of the brand— bold, resilient, and endlessly generous. They return year after year, reminding me that beauty often comes after patience, work, and trust in timing. Growing them taught me that tending something well — even imperfectly — matters.

Fox Cottage Farm is rooted in nostalgia and intention. It’s inspired by generational garden memories and the belief that flowers hold more than color — they carry comfort, presence, and meaning. Every stem grown here reflects care, curiosity, and respect for the seasons.

This farm exists to share that feeling.
