Day Dreamer is a luminous waterlily-form dahlia known for its soft, painterly blend of yellow, cream, peach, and blush-pink tones. The 4–6 inch blooms open in gentle layers, often beginning with creamy yellow outer petals that deepen into warm apricot and rosy hues toward the center — creating a delicate watercolor effect that shifts throughout the season.
Growing to about 4 feet tall, this vigorous variety produces sturdy stems that make it a beautiful choice for cutting gardens and soft, romantic arrangements. Day Dreamer brings an airy elegance to the field, pairing effortlessly with ivories, peaches, and pastel palettes while offering dependable performance year after year.

Shipping begins in April, once weather conditions are safe and there is no risk of tubers freezing in transit. Because we’re growing and shipping from New Hampshire, timing is guided by the season — ensuring your tubers arrive ready to grow, not rushed out too soon.

Local pickup is available one day only: Saturday, May 2nd, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Please choose local pickup only if you can commit to this date. Orders not picked up on May 2nd will be cancelled and refunded minus a 20% restocking fee. Orders will not be shipped. You will receive an email with the address in Portsmouth, NH the week before pickup.
