Valley Porcupine is one of those varieties that makes you stop mid-row. Its softly blushed blooms open in shades of creamy pink and icy rose, finished with deeper raspberry tips that give each petal a playful, almost feathery edge. The signature quill-like petals curl inward, creating that perfectly wild texture that feels both romantic and a little unexpected — like a garden with personality.
This novelty fully double dahlia is a beautiful bridge between classic soft palettes and something more textural. Plants grow tall with steady stems and a reliable bloom habit, making it a lovely choice for growers who want movement and dimension in bouquets. Expect blooms from mid-summer through frost, especially beautiful paired with blush, lavender, or warm neutral tones.
Form: Novelty
Height: 4ft
